Everyday inside society, you will discover stresses and conflicts that could influence the health and health of an individual. There are 12 determinants of health that help not just in define well being, but also to assist in understanding the problems and health concerns within just society. All of these determinants are interrelated and will have different effects on a person's health (Potter & Perry, 2010). A single negative determinant in one's life can impact a large part of other determinants that can lead to health problems or other scenarios that can in a negative way affect the health and fitness of an person. Being in good health is a state of psychological, sociable, environmental and physical wellвЂ“being, which in the end leads to a better quality of life. Cultural Environment
To start, social environment is grouped as a main health determinant as it influences people's communications within the healthcare system (Reutter & Eastlick Kushner, 2010). Reutter and Eastlick Kushner, (2010) claim that the cultural environment has norms and values in society that influence the fitness of people inside the society. An individual's social environment can limit and affect their entry to health information. They could lack the understanding of health and illness, and limit all their participation in health promotion and elimination programs, as a result of their integrity, values and culture (Reutter & Eastlick Kushner, 2010). An example of constraints in overall health promotion is visible within the history of Aboriginal neighborhoods. When the Canadian government restricted the legal rights of Radical peoples, we were holding forced to make an effort to adapt to a new culture and social environment.
